Another story!

Zack’s teeth chattered as he trudged up the barren cold white hill. He had been stationed at the IB1 for 1 week until he got transferred. While that was going on, he had been left behind to die in the wilderness of Enonas in the south region of Hyon, the ice planet. “Must… wake… up… Hey! What’s that! I think I see a fire! I’m saved!” Poor Zack, he was only seeing Aurora Borealis, the Northern Lights. Or was he? “Can’t run… no energy…WAAAAAAAAA!!” A swirling column of light swirled around him, sucking him up into the sky.

Woooomph! He was slammed into the rocky terrain of Xion. “Huh! This isn’t Hyon! Wait, I see civilization! There’s a Chan!” Chans are little running creatures very similar to rats, but Chans have red eyes, are bigger, and can carry a person on them. “Here boy! C’mere!”

“Well, don’t mind if I do! You’re the hero! Never mind what I just said. I say weird things sometimes,” said the Chan. “Wait,” Zack said, reaching for his utility pack. “You can –“ “Where are you from? What are you doing here? How did you get here? Did you fly?” the Chan blurted out suddenly. ”Uhh, maybe…” Zack groaned. Another weird thing to deal with!

“So, want me to carry you to that town over there?” said the Chan. “Sure,” replied Zack.

* * * * * * *

In the town, Zack saw a lot of things. A flea market, a tower, houses, shops, and a fortune teller. “Hey, I have some money. Want it?” said the Chan. “Okay,” said Zack, ”I’ll go to the fortune teller first.” Inside the shop, there were only six things. Zack, an old lady, a table, and a globe, and two chairs.

“I don’t like the look of this place,” whispered Zack to the Chan. “Me neither,” replied the Chan, “Oh, and by the way, my name is h37.” “Sit down, sit down,” the fortune teller said. Zack sat down. “39 please.” Zack gave her the money. “You will be a-“ Her sentence was interrupted by the sound of clanking metal on concrete floors and screaming.

“Oh dear!” the fortune teller said. “Grackle bugs! Bye!” She disappeared into thin air. Just then a girl that looked exactly like Zack ran into the shop. Strangely enough, Zack knew her even though he had never seen her. “Let’s go, May! Come on!” The words flew out of his mouth like he had never even spoken. All of a sudden, light once again took Zack up into the sky, with May following.

This time, they landed on Awnashi. Zack was the first to speak. “ Where’s h37?!” “Here I am!” h37 said, poking his head out of the utility pack Zack was wearing. “My, that was a bumpy ride!” “I’ll say!” May agreed. Zack took a look around. “Hey! There’s a two man flyder over there! Let’s get on.”

On the speeder, Zack noticed a black robot hovering about 4 feet of the ground.

Robby, I saw your story a week ago, but I just now had the chance to read it. You are a good writer. Your story is exciting and you left me wondering what happened. I hope you will write another chapter or two soon. I'll keep checking.
